SOIL!
We got very muddy this week exploring the soil in our local area. We tested the texture of the soil, the compaction and how quickly the water drained away. Have a look at our photos - it's a good job we were in our old clothes!!
Look at the great time we've had exploring soil to find out what's in it, what it's made of and the different creatures that live in it.

Literacy Workshop Lesson
A huge thank you to all the parents who came into school today to support their child(ren) in our Literacy workshop lesson. It was lovely to have so many of you and we hope this helps you with supporting your child at home. There were some lovely comments made by both the children and the parents; thank you all very much.
Magnet Science
We had great fun exploring magnets and how they work. The children had to solve lots of different challenges including working out where the poles were on different magnets, how to test the strength of magnets, whether or not magnets would work through sand, water and different thickness' of materials, the everyday uses of magnets and the hardest challenge of all - to make a magnet float in mid air without touching it. Check out Ben's picture to see how he solved this!
