Barlborough Primary School aims to provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment where children are motivated to learn, are valued as individuals and encouraged to reach their full potential. In 2016; Ofsted rated the School as “good”.

The School has a main listed building which is more than 100 years old but remains in remarkably good condition and there is a more recent school building that was extended in December 2008. There are approximately 230 children at the School in 8 classes.
